Exposición “Parque del Puerto”
La Demarcación de Tarragona del Colegio de Arquitectos de Cataluña acoge la exposición “Parque del Puerto”, que se podrá visitar del 1 de agosto al 29 de septiembre de 2023, a la sala de exposiciones.
La exposición recoge el proyecto ganador, los cuatro finalistas y el resto de propuestas presentadas al concurso de ideas publicado por el Puerto de Tarragona para la transformación urbanística de la en torno a los edificios institucionales. La idea del concurso era crear un gran parque urbano de 8.000 m² alrededor de la sede institucional y de la sede administrativa de la Autoridad Portuaria de Tarragona que contribuya a mejorar la conectividad con la ciudad de Tarragona y entre el Moll de Costa y el paseo de Miracle, impulsar la movilidad sostenible y reducir las emisiones de carbono.
El jueves día 14 de septiembre de 2023, a las 19 h, en la sala de actos del COAC Tarragona, se hará la inauguración de la exposición con una conferencia donde las arquitectas ganadoras explicarán su propuesta.

Exhibition "Port Park"
The Tarragona Region of the College of Architects of Catalonia hosts the “Port Park” exhibition, which can be visited from August 1 to September 29, 2023, in the exhibition hall.
The exhibition includes the winning project, the four finalists and the rest of the proposals presented in the contest of ideas published by the Port of Tarragona for the urban transformation of the environment of the institutional buildings. The idea of the competition was to create a large urban park of 8,000 m² around the institutional and administrative headquarters of the Port Authority of Tarragona that would contribute to improving connectivity with the city of Tarragona and between the Moll de Costa and the Passeig del Miracle, promote sustainable mobility and reduce carbon emissions.
On Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 7 p.m., in the COAC Tarragona assembly hall, the exhibition will be inaugurated with a conference where the winning architects will explain their proposal.

L’exposició recull el projecte guanyador, els quatre finalistes i la resta de propostes presentades al concurs d'idees publicat pel Port de Tarragona per a la transformació urbanística de l'entorn dels edificis institucionals. La idea del concurs era crear un gran parc urbà de 8.000 m² al voltant de la seu institucional i de la seu administrativa de l'Autoritat Portuària de Tarragona que contribueixi a millorar la connectivitat amb la ciutat de Tarragona i entre el Moll de Costa i el passeig del Miracle, impulsar la mobilitat sostenible i reduir les emissions de carboni.

XIII Alejandro de la Sota Biennial
The objective is to distinguish the most significant works that have been built in the 2021-2022 biennium in the territorial scope of the Demarcation (counties of Alt Camp, Baix Camp, Baix Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat and Tarragonès) .
From Monday 31 July 2023 registrations opened. Works could be submitted online. The registration period ended on Thursday, September 29, 2023.

The event begins with the welcome of the president of the Tarragona Demarcation of the COAC, Jordi Romera i Cid, and with the intervention of the architect Josep Llinàs.
Next, the secretary of the Biennial reveals the Jury's verdict with the selected, finalist and winning works. The 7th Alejandro de la Sota Prize is also awarded.
The dean of the COAC, Guim Costa Calsamiglia, closes the event.
Next, we have the opportunity to listen to a lecture by Cierto Estudio. The architect Carlota de Gispert has been a member of the jury of the XIII Alejandro de la Sota Biennial - Mostra d'Arquitectura de Tarragona.
